Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. James 3:1
I can identify Peter as a good leader. The characteristic that I really like about him is the change that he showed to Jesus so that he could prove himself worthy to become the leader of the Church. Although he denied Jesus 3 times, he never failed to become what Jesus visioned him to. Despite being a sinner, he still became the devoted leader that Jesus wanted him to be. He always had a positive attitude, that even if he faced obstacles in being the leader of the Apostles, he never failed to solve it.
When Peter changed to become the head of the Church, it inspired me to change as well. I know that I am a sinner, but I try my best to change myself to become the best version of myself. Although it is a hard task, I do it step-by-step so that slowly, I can improve.
I have experienced God transforming me to become a better person because in times when I feel like I am in trouble or anxious, I feel that he guides me, blessing me with confidence to face the tests and challenges He gives me. Also, I remain faithful to God even though I have my struggles because I know that He is there with me.
In times when I feel weak because of the problems and struggles in life, I pray. I pray to God for guidance that I may face these problems and struggles without fear of failing. I can also show my love and trust in God by always asking for His presence near me, and I will entrust my struggles to him as well. Lastly, I can show my love to God by trying to inspire others to do good to others, so they may do good to others too.
I can be a servant to the servants of God when I look up to Jesus, but also the works of the apostles. Applying the works of the apostles in my everyday life can improve the bond I have with God, and also lead me to a step closer to God. Then, I can be a servant to the servants of God by following the footsteps of Jesus and His apostles.
